There are myths of the ancient Near East, the Chinese story about the Goddess Nuwa, the Czech tale of the split of brothers Cech, Lech and Rus, the Roma legend about the way God created the Roma, ...

The Rainbow Ball - the Globe is to be the primer for 8 - 9 year old children. Its style is very simple and understandable. Apart form an illustration, each story is complemented by a picture of a child of the corresponding nation.

The stories have been chosen and adapted by Zlata Cerná, a sinologist, administrator of the Chinese collection of the Náprstek Museum in Prague. Chang Tang, Li Siao-pheng and Hana Pavlátová-Klímová have created the illustrations.
