Protected regions of naturally accummulated water resources  (natural waters accumulation) -
The governmental Regulation No. 40/1978 established seven protected regions (Beskydy Mts., Jeseniky Mts., Jizerske Mts., Krkonose Mts. - Giant Mts., Orlicke Mts., Sumava Mts. and Zdarske Hills) and Gov. Regulation No. 10/1979 six regions (Brdy Hills, Jablunkov borderland, Krusne Mts., Novohradske Mts., Vsetin hills, and Zamberk-Kraliky hills). Gov. Regulation No. 10/1981 established next seven regions (Chebska basin, Slavkovsky les hills, Northern Bohemian and Eastern Bohemian Cretaceous sediments, Policka basin, Trebonsko basin, and Quaternary accumulation of Morava river valley).

Governmental regulations concerning the above mentioned regions intensifies protection of natural waters accumulation. According to that regulations is prohibited or limited activity which could threaten water management conditions, quality or quantity of natural reserves of surface or subsurface waters tighten up protection.
