BIOCENTRES USES , AREAL DETAIL SUPER-REGIONAL
BIOCENTRES
Biocentres (nuclei) - the areal nature communities creating
the ecologically stable parts of the landscape with a concentration of
a natural worth. Common parts of them are forests, pastures and meadows,
preserves, greenwoods, groups of trees in the open area, natural stretches
of water, marshes etc. They provide sustained existence of associations
of natural gene resources of the landscape.
Biocorridors - line-forming natural associations (forest-zones,
valley plains, waterside growth, meadow-strips) which represent a distant
migration route of organisms. Biocorridors connect individual biocentres
and they jointly compose ecological stable territorial sectors. (Dividing
stable areas from those ecological non-stable areas).
